On Sunday 20th, as a great finale to a lovely week, the Broadstone Golf Club & Poole Audi Charity Pro-Am took place. Having not hosted a Pro-Am since 2013, the Captain and Professionals worked very hard to get the event up and running and over 20 teams did battle on a beautiful day over a course agreed to be in magnificent condition.
The food afterwards was extremely popular in what proved to be an excellent day bo9th on and off the course, as well as raising good sums for charity.
The winning team were from St Kew Golf Club in Cornwall with 88 stableford points in the best 2 from 4 format. In the professional event, our own Jacob Hunter finished tied 6th with a 72, Adey Harris taking the pro's bragging rights with a 71 and tied 3rd, with 70's from Paul Hendriksen and Jon Bevan taking top spot.
The winning team, along with Club Captain Dave Shenton (far left) and Josh from the PGA (second from the right).
Thank you to all those who supported the event, both playing and volunteering.
