NEWS ROUND UP

Welcome to our new weekly feature where we will round up the weeks golfing activities at Broadstone Golf Club. This will not replace the usual information streams such as the Friday Round Up or the Tee-2-Green but will help give members a summary of the results of matches and competitions and will run through the summer months before becoming a hedgehog and hibernating for the winter months!

I would like to thank Rhys, our student placement from Bournemouth University for his help in putting this together and I hope it keeps you both informed and entertained in the weeks to come.

Before we start off our round up of last week’s competitions, highlight of the week goes to past captain Graham Wilkin for his first Hole in One at Broadstone, on the 6th hole during Saturdays stableford competition.

Well done Graham.

Other Things to note…

Easter Sunday lunch was another great success, with over 40 people enjoying our excellent Sunday Roast, a great way to spend Easter Sunday with family and friends.

The days are much longer now and the weather is looking to be kind, so now is the best time to start to play some evening golf!
